Some of the companies decided to no longer work with the online marketplace for Black-owned businesses in light of Diddy’s sexual assault allegations, Rolling Stone reports.

Following accusations by Cassie Ventura and three others, Rolling Stone reported on Sunday (Dec. 10) that 18 brands have ended partnerships with Diddy’s e-commerce platform Empower Global.

Annette Njau, founder of luxury brand House of Takura, confirmed to Rolling Stone that she severed ties with Diddy’s marketplace on the day of Ventura’s lawsuit filing.

Njau emphasized, “We take the allegations against Mr. Combs very seriously and find such behavior abhorrent and intolerable.”
