Adekunle Gold and Simi had an exceptional reason to dress up in white and silver today. The couple gathered with family to dedicate their baby boy, Adeifemi Oba Ajani Kosoko, marking another beautiful chapter for the Kosoko family.
The dedication comes a few months after the couple welcomed their second child in March 2026, adding another milestone to their growing family.
Simi shared the news with an emotional message revealing her son’s full name and offering prayers for his life, health, joy, peace and protection. She affectionately called him her “Fresh Prince,” “Lil Champ” and “baby boy” while committing him to the care of Jesus Christ.
Adeifemi joins big sister Adejare Kosoko, who was born in 2020. In her dedication message, Simi sweetly referred to her son as “Aburo Adejare,” meaning Adejare’s younger sibling, making the family moment even more special.
But as expected, the celebration also came with a serious fashion moment.
Adekunle Gold and Simi coordinated their looks in elegant white Yoruba ensembles, with silver details tying the two outfits together beautifully.
Adekunle Gold opted for a crisp white agbada featuring geometric embroidery, paired with matching trousers and a tailored inner tunic. A white patterned Aso-Oke fila completed the traditional look, while tinted rectangular sunglasses and silver rings added a contemporary edge.
Simi took the feminine route in a fitted white floor-length lace gown covered in delicate silver sequin detailing. The structured neckline and semi-sheer sleeves gave the dress a refined finish, while her beautifully wrapped white gele kept the look rooted in tradition.
She completed the outfit with a silver box clutch and matching heels, allowing the metallic details to pick up the sparkle from her gown.
