Asake has risen to superstardom, enjoying immense commercial success. In 2023, his star continued to shine brightly, culminating in a remarkable achievement on TurnTable Charts, Nigeria’s leading aggregate chart.

According to the chart, Asake emerged as the most streamed Nigerian artist of 2023, amassing a staggering 654 million streams. This remarkable feat was largely fueled by the success of his sophomore album ‘Work of Art’, which featured hit singles such as ‘Amapiano’, ‘2:30’, ‘Basquiat’, and the chart-topping ‘Lonely At The Top’.

Asake’s dominance on the streaming charts was further highlighted by his debut album’s continued popularity, solidifying his position as one of Nigeria’s most sought-after artists.

Following closely behind Asake on the list was Seyi Vibez, who secured the second spot with 533 million streams. Seyi Vibez’s success was propelled by the release of two albums and two EPs, showcasing his versatility and musical prowess.

Grammy-nominated artist Davido claimed the third position with 328 million streams, attributed to the success of his fourth album ‘Timeless’. Meanwhile, Omah Lay secured the fourth spot with 301 million streams, driven by the deluxe version of his debut album ‘Boy Alone’.
