Taking to Instagram, Abudu treated fans to sneak peeks of the set, providing a tantalizing preview of what’s in store for this much-awaited title.

Oloture, a crime drama that first captivated audiences in 2019, revolves around a daring Nigerian journalist who infiltrates the dark world of human trafficking in Lagos. The film gained widespread acclaim for its gripping narrative and stellar performances.

Mo Abudu’s Instagram post shed light on the film’s production, which kicked off on March 5, 2023. The shared images feature returning cast members, with Sharon Ooja and Beverly Osu looking the part, portraying characters who’ve faced the harsh realities of their undercover mission. Ikechukwu Onunaku and Daniel Etim Effiong also make a bold appearance, hinting at intense sequences that lie ahead.

Director’s Return

Kenneth Gyang, the mastermind behind the original Oloture, returns as the director, ensuring a seamless continuation of the compelling narrative. The cast lineup boasts a stellar ensemble, including Omoni Oboli, Stan Nze, Amara Onoh, Bukola Abiola Oladipupo, Patrick Doyle, Segun Arinze, Bucci Franklin, Efe Iwara, and Adebukola Oladipupo.
