Queen Bey Goes for Gold at the Grammys
Beyoncé knows how to make an entrance—even without walking the red carpet.
The music icon skipped the pre-show fanfare at the 2025 Grammy Awards but slipped into Los Angeles’s Crypto.com Arena just in time to claim her first award of the evening: Best Country Album for her groundbreaking album, Cowboy Carter.
For the occasion, Beyoncé shone in a custom Schiaparelli gold bodycon gown that hugged her figure perfectly. The dress featured intricate white paisley embroidery, a subtle nod to her western-inspired album. She paired the look with sequined opera gloves and statement gold Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, bringing her signature glamour to the stage.
This year, Beyoncé leads the Grammy nominations with an impressive 11 nods. Her history-making Cowboy Carter explores the intersections of Black culture and country music, making her the first Black woman to top the Hot Country Songs chart.
In a past Instagram post, Beyoncé opened up about the album’s inspiration: “This project was born from a moment where I didn’t feel welcomed. I channeled that into learning the history of Country music, especially the contributions of Black artists who helped shape it.” She added, “It’s a reminder that music can unite and amplify voices often overlooked.”
The question now remains—will Beyoncé finally win the elusive Album of the Year award? Fans and critics alike are waiting to see if this will be the crowning moment the BeyHive has been hoping for.
