Africa’s biggest reality television show, Big Brother Naija (BBNaija), is set to return for its highly anticipated Season 11 on Sunday, July 26, 2026, with even higher stakes, new twists, and the biggest prize in the show’s history.
The launch show will air from 7:00 p.m. on Africa Magic Showcase and Africa Magic Family, while the 24-hour live broadcast will be available on DStv Channel 198 and GOtv Channel 49. Fans can also stream every moment live via DStv Stream and GOtv Stream.
This year’s theme, “Everything Is For The Taking,” sets the tone for what promises to be one of the franchise’s most competitive seasons. According to MultiChoice, every challenge, alliance, nomination, and victory will have to be earned as a fresh batch of housemates compete for the coveted grand prize.
The winner of BBNaija Season 11 will walk away with a record-breaking ₦160 million prize package, including ₦100 million in cash, a brand-new SUV, and additional sponsored rewards. It is the largest prize ever offered since the reality show returned in 2017.
Speaking on the new season, Atinuke Babatunde, Executive Head of Content and Channels, West Africa at MultiChoice, said the franchise continues to evolve while remaining one of Africa’s biggest entertainment platforms.
“Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) has consistently redefined entertainment in Africa by bringing together authentic storytelling, compelling personalities and moments that resonate with millions of viewers. Season 11 builds on that legacy with even bigger stakes, fresh twists and an exciting mix of housemates that will keep audiences engaged from premiere night through to the finale.”
Longtime host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu returns to lead the live shows, eviction nights, and reunion moments that have become synonymous with the franchise. Viewers can also expect exciting weekly tasks, strategic gameplay, dramatic twists, and the unpredictable house dynamics that have kept audiences hooked for nearly a decade.
