Bill Gates and his girlfriend, Paula Hurd, made a stylish entrance at the 10th Breakthrough Prize Ceremony in Los Angeles on April 13, marking their red carpet debut as a couple.
Gates, the 68-year-old Microsoft co-founder, looked dapper in a black tuxedo and bowtie, perfectly complementing Hurd’s elegant ensemble. Hurd, 60, stunned in a black turtleneck gown with delicate feather detailing, her hair styled beautifully, and a pearl necklace adding a touch of sophistication to her look.
The couple confirmed their relationship in 2023, after being spotted together at various events, including sporting events and Jeff Bezos’ engagement party. Hurd, a University of Texas graduate with a background in business administration, is described as a developer, philanthropist, and organizer of memorable event experiences.
Hurd, who was previously married to former Oracle CEO Mark Hurd, has two daughters, Kathryn and Kelly. Gates, who was married to Melinda French Gates for 27 years before their divorce in 2021, continues to work with Melinda at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, which they co-founded in 2000.
