Daphne Joy, known for her relationship with rapper 50 Cent, has made serious accusations against him, claiming he physically and sexually assaulted her. In an emotional Instagram post, Joy addressed 50 Cent, whose legal name is Curtis James Jackson, accusing him of rape and abuse.
Joy’s accusations come amidst 50 Cent’s decision to seek sole custody of their son, Sire, citing allegations in a lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs that Joy worked as a sex worker. In response, Joy expressed frustration, stating, “You have permanently damaged the last hope I had for you as a father.”
In a statement, 50 Cent’s representative emphasized his commitment to protecting Sire, stating, “My son Sire is my main priority and keeping him in a safe environment is my only focus at this time.”
Joy also criticized 50 Cent for his jokes about the allegations against Diddy, stating, “Everything is a joke to you until our safety is compromised.” She highlighted 50 Cent’s limited involvement in their son’s life, alleging that he saw Sire only 10 times in two years when they lived close to him in New York.
This is not the first time 50 Cent has been involved in domestic violence allegations. In 2013, he pleaded guilty to misdemeanor vandalism after allegedly kicking Joy and destroying her property during an argument.
Joy also addressed allegations made by producer Rodney Jones in a sex trafficking lawsuit against Diddy, denying claims that she was a sex worker. She stated, “The claim that I am a sex worker is 100% false and character assassination,” and announced her intention to pursue legal action against Jones and his attorney.
