If the theme was “Milestone Magic,” Dede Ashiogwu didn’t just understand the assignment, she elevated it. Stepping out for the 35th birthday gala of beauty mogul Diiadem, the reality star and fashion entrepreneur delivered a look that felt like a seamless fusion of ancient royalty and modern couture.
Dressed in a custom creation by Oobiuku, Dede didn’t just enter the room, she commanded it.

Her gown was a rich exploration of texture and tone, leaning fully into a “Bronze Goddess” aesthetic that perfectly echoed the desert-inspired setting of the event. The look opened with a daring one-shoulder neckline, featuring a sculptural cut-out strap adorned with intricate beading. The detailing introduced a raw, almost organic texture that felt both powerful and refined.
At the core of the design was a meticulously crafted corset, where multi-tonal bronze and gold beads were arranged in sharp, geometric chevron patterns. The effect was striking cinching the waist while sculpting a flawless, statuesque silhouette.
The gown then softened into a delicate lace midsection before cascading into a dramatic, floor-length beaded fringe. With every step, the fringe moved like liquid, adding rhythm and motion that made the entire look feel alive.

But it was the headpiece that truly sealed the moment. Swapping the traditional gele for something more sculptural, Dede opted for a soft, peach-toned fabric wrap. Designed in voluminous, rose-like folds, it introduced a layer of romantic softness that balanced the structured intensity of the gown, a bold play on scale and proportion that paid off beautifully.
It wasn’t just a look. It was a statement in craftsmanship, confidence, and control.
