#DIY: How to make an ankle bracelet

In town or at the beach, the accessory that is making the difference is the ankle bracelet ! Follow our DIY to learn step by step how to make an ankle bracelet.

– Iron on beads
– Elastic nylon
thread – Embroidery thread (2 colors)
– A pair of scissors
– a piece of card stock

To make the bracelet

Thread the beads (about 20 cm in length) directly onto the nylon thread or cut 25 cm of thread, and secure one end with a piece of adhesive tape.

When you have obtained the desired length (the bracelet should not be too tight), tie several knots to close the bracelet.

Cut the ends of the knot and hide the small threads in one of the beads.

To make the pompom

Wrap embroidery thread on a small piece of cardboard (the length of your pompom).

Once the volume of the pompom has been reached, tear the cardboard.

Wrap the other way around one end of the wire to secure the mass you just created. Tighten well!

Cut the other end to the desired length.

Then attach the pompom to the bracelet by tying it several times between two beads.

Cut the two protruding threads flush.

Repeat the last 6 steps on a thread of another color.

There you have it, it’s easy to make.
