Canadian superstar Drake has made history, joining fellow Canadian Justin Bieber as the artist with the most songs exceeding 1 billion streams on Spotify.
His collaboration with Chris Brown, ‘No Guidance,’ recently surpassed the billion-stream mark, matching Bieber’s record.
Drake’s music has continuously pushed the boundaries of Hip Hop, making him one of the world’s best-selling artists. With the release of his eighth solo album, ‘For All The Dogs,’ he tied Michael Jackson’s record of 13 No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 hits. His latest chart-topper, ‘First Person Shooter’ featuring J Cole, helped him achieve this milestone.
Drake also holds the record for the most No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 this century, breaking the previous tie of 13 albums he shared with Taylor Swift.
Among Drake’s many achievements is his 2013 hit single ‘One Dance’ featuring Wizkid and Kyla, which remains one of the most streamed songs of all time on Spotify with over 3 billion streams.
