Falz Reimagines Pre-Wedding Shoots With Hilarious “Omoge” Visuals

Falz

If your pre-wedding shoot is starting to feel like a recycled Pinterest board, Falz just flipped the script and honestly, it’s about time.

To promote his latest single Omoge, the rapper traded stiff, overly serious couple portraits for something far more entertaining: chaos, humour, and a refreshing dose of personality. Think turquoise and silver lace Agbadas, lilac lace buba-and-wrapper sets, and poses that feel more like inside jokes than staged romance.

In one frame, Falz is literally on the floor acting as a human footrest. In another, he’s on all fours while his co-star casually sits on his back like it’s just another day in love. It’s unserious, slightly unhinged and exactly why it works. As he put it himself: “Pre-wedding shoot inspo? I got you.”

But beyond the playful visuals, there’s a deeper layer to the rollout. “Omoge” taps into nostalgia, sampling the legendary Sir Shina Peters and borrowing from the rich, rhythmic pulse of highlife and Juju music. It’s the kind of track that instantly feels familiar—warm, celebratory, and rooted in culture.

And that contrast is where Falz really wins here. On one hand, you have a song that leans into heritage and timeless sound. On the other, visuals that completely reject tradition in favour of something more personal, more playful, and frankly, more memorable.

Because if we’re being honest, most pre-wedding shoots are forgettable. Falz just proved they don’t have to be.
