I’m asked about fashion accessories and how to use them to style one outfit in various different ways.
Remember, you don’t need to be a model to look like you’ve stepped off the runway – you just need a killer wardrobe and some lipstick!
Necklaces
Necklaces can make any outfit look a lot more glamorous, they are the easiest accessories to change up as they are very versatile. There are really long ones, you can wear full length (the way that they come) or you can fold them a couple of times to wear them shorter and in a layered for a bundled affect.
Scarves
A Scarf is a really good way to change up your outfit. Scarves are the perfect accessory because you can wear them so many different ways around you neck, around your body and in your hair too. I actually love tying my scarf to my handbag as sometimes it may be too warm to wear but I will wear it later in the day.
Bracelets
There is so much you can do with bracelets. You can go the really minimal look with delicate chains for a simple yet elegant look and you can also do the boho thang and stack them up on your wrist.
Lipstick and nail polish
Whilst lipstick and nail polish aren’t traditionally classed as accessories. I definitely work them like accessories! The shade of lipstick you are wearing can really define your outfit and style as does nail polish. Wearing lipstick and nail polish also make you feel good too 🙂
Hair
Although it’s not an accessory another thing you can do to change up an outfit is style your hair differently. Wear it out one day or up high in a messy bun the next. Changing up your hair along with you accessories will really change the style of an outfit.
