Once seen as the epitome of bad taste, sheer fabrics and risqué dresses have become a key element of some of the world’s chicest wardrobes. Yes, really.

But how to jump on the trend without looking tragic?

See-through looks tend to work best when they’re full-length (unless you’re Cara Delevingne, in which case anything goes). While a sheer mini skirt would leave almost too little to the imagination, something with a longer hemline gives enough of a glimpse to be sexy without giving everything away.
