The 3rd season of the innovative, first of its kind in Africa reality competition, FashMode powered by La Mode magazine is upon us, and this season is already looking to be super awesome as it’s set to air on DSTV, GoTV, Free TV, MyTV, and on YouTube on La Mode TV NG, with star-studded judges.
Meet The Judges below:
Onwuka Sopuruchi
Onwuka Sopuruchi is a multi-award-winning serial Entrepreneur and a Fashion Designer. She is the Creative Director of Soluch by Soso a fashion company that is focused on creating timeless designs. She is a graduate of Computer Science at Imo State University. She is passionate about using her craft to tell positive stories and a true believer in the possibilities of business growth in Africa.
Great Oti
Great Oti, born June 26 is a Nigerian Economist, Model and Photographer. Oti is currently the Creative Director at Great studio Media, a commercial photography company based in Lagos, Nigeria. He has worked with a plethora of notable corporate and individual brands including Lagos Business School, Tet fund, Designer Thinkers, and Web Star Associates.
As a model, Oti has featured in local & international ad campaigns for noted brands like Guinness Nigeria, Baileys Nigeria (a subsidiary of Diageo PLC), Sisiano, and Cadbury Nigeria PLC.
Prior to his time at Great Studio Media, Oti worked as a Team Lead for Tecno Mobile where he led the activation of the Tecno Phantom Z phone in October 2016.
Ethel Eze
Ethel Eze is an accomplished Fashion Designer, Fashion trainer, creative director and owner of Sassyfashionhouse a fashion brand that designs both custom and ready to wear pieces and was established in 2014.
Before devoting herself full time to fashion designing, Ethel was a Mechanical Engineer and worked in the mechanical engineering and planning department of PPMC a Subsidiary of NNPC in Kaduna.
In addition to being a fashion designer, Ethel is a model and a certified Nutritionist.
Ethel has established herself as a global presence and a fashion influencer. She is single and happiest with her parents and seven siblings.
TOBI OLAMIDE ALABI AKA QUEEN MAKER OR COACH
QUEEN MAKER OR COACH is the founder of the award-winning pageant/model grooming brand (THECATWALKCOACH.NG).
He started his career back in 2014 as a model in Accra, Ghana and walked on reputable fashion shows in and outside Nigeria.
Thecatwalkcoach.ng is a brand that was launched to help groom/mould and educate aspiring models and beauty Queens on the importance of catwalk, etiquette, poise, posture, styling and charisma etc as he believes proper catwalk gives a model more appraisal on the runway than height and skin colour.
In 2020, he became the first African Catwalk Instructor to be listed on the New-York walk magazine as the worlds’ Top 100 creatives and was the only catwalk instructor to be featured.
He is the official groomer for MISS WORLD NIGERIA, MISS GRAND NIGERIA, THE NIGERIAN QUEEN, FACE OF IDOMA CARNIVAL INTERNATIONAL, MISS SUPRANATIONAL NIGERIA and many more, with either a win, an award or a placement on the international stage. And recently he became the first instructor to groom a delegate who became the first Nigerian to place in the Top 20 at the Miss Grand International pageant.
He has worked with so many model agencies in Nigeria and beyond, to list a few: gngmodelsafrica & Newfame models.
Other achievements are Zikel international award for his contribution in the pageant industry, several etc. In the nearest future, he hopes to start his own pageant academy, own a pageant franchise and also be the very first Nigerian born Catwalk Instructor to walk the Miss Universe stage.
