La Mode Magazine’s Green October Event 2021 took place as usual on Nigeria’s independence day, 1st October 2021, and as usual, people living with disabilities were the stars of the event.

The annual event which showcases the best of Nigeria’s fashion industry, and uses its influence to promote equality and inclusion for people living with disabilities, saw some of these individuals showcase their modelling skills on the runway.

The Green October Event 2021 was more than just a fashion showcase. it was a celebration of inclusion, creativity, and the power of fashion to tell meaningful stories. As every edition this year’s edition shone a special spotlight on persons with disabilities, who lit up the runway with confidence, beauty, and grace, proudly wearing HN Clothings  by Chikodinaka Perpetua Chima “Thread of Heritage” graduating collection.

The event, organized annually by La Mode Magazine, is known for merging fashion and humanitarian causes and the 2021 edition proved that diversity is not just a trend, but a statement of strength.
