Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton just turned the red carpet into their personal runway at the 2024 ACM Awards!
On Thursday, May 16, the music power couple stepped out for a glamorous date night before their highly anticipated duet performance. The Voice alums, married since 2021, rocked country-inspired outfits that had everyone talking.
Gwen, at 54, looked fierce in a brown leather jacket decorated with multi-coloured feathers, paired with a super short skirt. She finished the look with fishnet tights and brown platform heels. Blake, 47, kept it classic with a black button-up under a matching blazer with tan detailing and a pair of jeans.
The duo recently released their duet “Purple Irises” and have been making stylish appearances ever since. Just last week, they wowed at the 27th annual Keep Memory Alive Power of Love Gala, where Blake was honoured. Blake went for his usual understated style with a black collared button-down shirt, a black blazer, denim jeans, and brown boots. Gwen stole the show in a long-sleeve silver mini-dress covered in crystals, shimmering stilettos, crystal-covered leggings, her signature sleek blonde hair, and a bold red lip.
The couple also turned heads at the premiere of Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt’s new action-comedy The Fall Guy in Los Angeles on April 30. Gwen wore a funky green and black plaid-patterned set, complete with furry boots, a shiny red purse, and honeycomb-textured tights. Her long blonde hair was styled down and pulled back from her face, paired with a glossy nude lip. Blake kept it simple yet stylish with a black jacket, black button-down, jeans, and brown leather shoes.
Gwen and Blake are no strangers to the ACM Awards and their experience shows. Gwen earned her first ACM nomination in 2021 for music event of the year with Blake for their romantic duet “Nobody But You.” Blake, on the other hand, has won six ACM Awards, including Single of the Year in 2020 for “God’s Country” and song of the year in 2013 for “Over You,” performed by his ex-wife Miranda Lambert.
This year’s ACM Awards feature a star-studded lineup, including Jelly Roll, Miranda Lambert, Lainey Wilson, Jason Aldean, Kane Brown, Cody Johnson, Thomas Rhett, and Chris Stapleton. The duets, besides Stefani and Shelton, include Kelsea Ballerini performing with “Stick Season” singer Noah Kahan and Post Malone making his ACMs debut.
