How to have healthy and strong hair in six steps

Having thick and healthy hair is the desire of all women. Although frequent cuts certainly bring a breath of fresh air, it is not certain that every problem can be solved with a scissor kick. There are small attentions that can be taken daily to take care of your hair to improve their state and well-being. Here are the main ones.

The frequency of washing

We know that the advice not to wash your hair too often is true. However, everything depends on your scalp, which must be treated as the continuation of your face. In fact, like the skin of the face, it contains the highest concentration of sebaceous glands. If the skin is very oily, washing your hair a little may not be the best way. Listening to your hair is therefore essential. The shampoo must be like the cleanser from which everything begins and therefore must be targeted for your type of need: purifying, delicate, for dry or oily skin.

Balm is like moisturizer

Who among us leaves the house without first applying a good dose of moisturizer? The rule also applies to hair and conditioner is the right amount. However, there is attention to be paid to its application. In fact, squeezing the lengths well is essential to ensure that the applied product penetrates and is effective on all strands. In fact, if too wet the product would dilute too much, losing some areas and slipping away.

Matching shampoo and conditioner

A valid suggestion to obtain a lasting and effective result is to always combine the conditioner with your shampoo, always applying them in pairs. In fact, if the goal is the same for both washing phases, this will lead to greater and faster results. It wouldn’t make sense to apply an anti-dandruff shampoo, for example, and then apply a conditioner to neutralize it. Working in pairs is often the winning solution.

Do not wrap your hair in a towel

Now an almost instinctive gesture that you make as soon as you get out of the shower. But wrapping your hair in the terry towel could ruin all the work done under the jet of water. In fact, squeezing the lengths on a rough cloth could break the ends and weaken them even more. In fact, when they are wet, the hair is more elastic. Pulling your hair by wrapping it in a towel or stressing it by rubbing it together could cause split ends, breakage and frizz. Therefore, using an old T-shirt or a softer and more delicate microfiber cloth is the solution for those who do not want to give up this gesture of relaxation.

Avoid brushing wet hair

As we said, when hair is wet it is more vulnerable and elastic. That’s why it’s never a good idea to brush your hair straight out of the shower. They would risk breaking. This applies not only to curly hair, but to all types of shafts. It would be good not to stress them at all, drying them first and then brushing them carefully. A lake tooth comb, however, has the delicacy of slipping through the hair without getting tangled. It starts from the ends to untangle the tips and then move upwards so as not to exert too much pressure on the strands.

Drying and thermal shocks

The highest setting of the hairdryer exists only to speed up the times and get drying in a short time. However, there is a disadvantage if you use this function right away. The sudden transition between wet hair and more intense heat can cause a thermal shock resulting in damage to the ends and lengths, making them appear dull and lifeless. The trick is to remove as much water as possible from the hair before moving on to a more gradual drying to which you can spend more time, to ensure as little damage as possible, with the right accessories.
