Jodie Turner-Smith didn’t just show up for the Tron: Ares photocall in Paris — she logged in. Literally.
The 39-year-old actress stepped out at the Palais de Tokyo on September 24 wearing a couture robot-inspired dress that looked like someone raided a 2000s cyber café and turned it into high fashion. The gown — straight from Schiaparelli’s spring/summer 2024 runway — fused old-school gadgets with futuristic sparkle, and the result was nothing short of jaw-dropping.

Think: silver chips, glittering Swarovski crystals, matrix-green circuit boards, CDs the size of your hand, digital cameras, calculators, and even dangling wires — all stitched into a silhouette that screamed sci-fi goddess. The vibe? Couture meets computer lab, and we’re obsessed.
Stylist Law Roach (a.k.a. the man who makes magic happen) paired the look with lucite Gianvito Rossi Diana heels, an oversized acrylic-and-crystal choker that puffed up like a sci-fi collar, threader earrings, and a matching minaudière. Basically, if the motherboard had a muse, this was it.

And because fashion is nothing without commentary, the internet wasted no time. Lisa Rinna hopped into the comments declaring: “It’s COUTURE — look at the tag, honey!” One fan shouted, “MOTHER WEARING MOTHERBOARD STYLED BY MOTHER!” while another dropped the best Project Runway reference: “Definitely giving unconventional materials challenge and I’m living.”
It’s giving recycled glamour, future nostalgia, and a full lesson in how tech can actually be wearable art. We didn’t know we needed “calculator chic,” but Jodie just proved it belongs on the runway.
