Football season just got a global soundtrack. LISA, Anitta, and Rema have joined forces for a cross-continental collaboration titled “Goals,” featured on the Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Album, marking one of the project’s most high-profile releases to date.
Dropped on Thursday, May 21, the multilingual single brings together K-pop, Afrobeats, and Latin pop in a genre-blending production designed for the world stage. Positioned as a sonic celebration of global unity, “Goals” leans into high-energy percussion, moody electronic textures, and a rhythm-driven structure that reflects the distinct musical identities of all three artists.
Produced by Cirkut, alongside Bava and PinkSlip, the track fuses layered percussion with a polished pop framework, creating a soundscape that feels equally built for stadiums and streaming playlists. Each artist delivers a distinct vocal presence, LISA’s sharp precision, Anitta’s rhythmic flair, and Rema’s melodic ease coming together in a track that feels intentionally borderless.
In a statement, LISA described the collaboration as a milestone moment, noting that music continues to bridge cultures and audiences worldwide. “Being a part of the Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Album this year has been so exciting,” she said, adding that working with Anitta and Rema made the experience even more meaningful.
Anitta also reflected on the emotional connection between Brazil and the World Cup, calling the opportunity to contribute to the tournament’s musical legacy a special honour. Rema, meanwhile, highlighted the significance of the collaboration as a meeting point of three continents and three distinct sonic worlds.
Released via SALXCO UAM and Def Jam Recordings, “Goals” arrives alongside a high-energy visual that mirrors the track’s global ambition. The music video amplifies the song’s multicultural identity, blending performance-driven imagery with a fast-paced aesthetic designed for international audiences.
The track is also set for its first live performance at the FIFA World Cup 2026 opening ceremony in Los Angeles on June 12, positioning it as one of the defining musical moments of the tournament.
“Goals” follows earlier releases on the official album, including “Por Ella” by Los Ángeles Azules and Belinda, “Echo” by Daddy Yankee and Shenseea, and “Illuminate” by Jessie Reyez and Elyanna, each contributing to the project’s global sonic palette.
