Prince Harry and Meghan Markle arrived in New Zealand today, where the royal couple started their stay by visiting the Pukeahu National War Memorial Park together.
Dressed in matching neutral shades, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex recieved a traditional Māori welcome and greeted locals before finally paying their respects at the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior.
For the occasion, Meghan wore a checkered trench coat by New Zealand designer Karen Walker, an appropriate choice for the setting and something the Duchess has consistently done right throughout their tour (in Australia, she also wore Australian brands such as Scanlan Theodore). It happens to be one of the must-have coat silhouettes of the season, and in a plaid print such as Markle’s style, it felt particularly cool.
Beneath her coat, the Duchess wore a black round neck dress that allowed the outerwear to shine. Her accessory were her favorite black pumps by Sarah Flint, which feature tortoiseshell block heels.
