The premiere of the historical epic “Lisabi” was a dazzling display of royalty and grandeur as the cast stepped onto the red carpet in outfits befitting the film’s majestic theme. The event saw a stunning showcase of traditional Nigerian fashion, with rich agbadas, ornately designed dresses, and detailed accessories that echoed the film’s story of bravery, heritage, and leadership.

Produced by Adedimeji Lateef and Adebimpe Lateef, and directed by Niyi Akinmolayan, “Lisabi” is an epic retelling of the life of the legendary warrior Lisabi, who led the Egba people in their courageous quest for freedom from the oppressive rule of the Alaafin of Oyo. The movie brings to life the cultural richness and historical significance of Yoruba heritage, blending cinematic brilliance with an inspiring narrative of rebellion and unity.

The all-star cast includes the likes of Femi Adebayo Salami, Odunlade Adekola, Ibrahim Itele Yekini, Ibrahim Chattah, Juliana Olayode, Olumide Oworu, Mr Macaroni, Eniola Ajao, Gabriel Afolayan, Roseline Omokhoa Afije (Liquorose), and Adedimeji Lateef, all of whom took the theme of royalty to heart with their show-stopping looks.

From rich fabrics to intricate embroidery, the night was a visual feast for fashion lovers, with traditional Yoruba attire taking center stage. Femi Adebayo Salami graced the event in a deep blue agbada with gold embroidery, exuding regal charm.
