Former Big Brother Naija housemate Tsakute Ladi Jonah, popularly known as Saskay, has officially added another remarkable achievement to her growing list of accomplishments. The reality TV star, artist, and digital creator has completed her Master’s degree in Global Security and Strategy at the Brussels School of Governance, Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
Saskay, who rose to fame as one of the standout contestants on Big Brother Naija Season 6: Shine Ya Eye in 2021, announced the milestone on social media, sharing an emotional video documenting her journey from her first day on campus to the completion of her programme.
Her postgraduate research focused on one of today’s most pressing global issues. Saskay’s 10,329-word thesis, titled “The Rise of Algorithmic Counter Terrorism: AI, Global Governance and Security,” explored the growing role of artificial intelligence in counter-terrorism efforts and its implications for global governance and security.
The achievement comes barely a year after she revealed her decision to return to school, fulfilling a long-held ambition to earn a master’s degree while balancing life as a public figure and content creator.
To celebrate the milestone, Saskay shared moments from her graduation celebrations in Brussels. She was photographed outside the Carnegie Europe building wearing high-waisted black trousers, a crisp white button-down shirt, suspenders, and a patterned gold tie, before heading into the city to celebrate with classmates and friends.
Reflecting on the journey, she summed up the experience in a heartfelt message:
“Rich, Not in things, but in moments.”
Since leaving the Big Brother Naija house, Saskay has steadily expanded her career beyond reality television, establishing herself as an artist, digital creator, and entrepreneur. Completing a master’s degree while maintaining her public career marks another significant milestone, inspiring many young Nigerians to pursue personal and academic growth alongside their professional ambitions.
