Tennis legend Serena Williams is fully embracing the trend. Since Beyoncé’s stunning appearance at the 2024 Grammys on Feb. 4, where she hinted at her upcoming country album, Act II, set to drop on March 29, the world has been captivated by her Western-inspired looks — and Serena Williams is no exception.

Williams, 42, recently shared a photo of herself on Sunday, sporting a boho country look that echoed Beyoncé’s style. In the picture, Williams is seen in a belted pleated ecru dress, left mostly unbuttoned to reveal a sexy thigh-high slit, worn over a black bodysuit. She paired the outfit with calf-length riding boots, a black fedora, and a floral-patterned handbag, perfectly capturing the essence of cowgirl chic.

“I mean when she drops a country album you get in formation #beyonce,” Williams captioned the post, which also included a selfie with Sylvester Stallone at an event they both attended.

Beyoncé has been a recent source of inspiration for high-fashion cowboy hat styling. At the Grammys, she sported a white $440 Stetson cowboy hat, complementing her blonde hair. She paired this with a Louis Vuitton skirt suit, a white shirt tied with a black ribbon tie, and six stunning rings from Cartier.

Following the Grammy appearance, Beyoncé released two songs, “Texas Hold ‘Em” and “16 Carriages,” during the Super Bowl on Feb. 11, continuing to embrace the yee-haw aesthetic. She was spotted at Luar’s New York Fashion Week show donning another dramatic cowboy hat, seated front row alongside her mom, Tina Knowles, in support of model Daniel Julez Smith, son of Solange Knowles, Beyoncé’s sister.

In addition to her fashion statements, Beyoncé launched her new haircare line, Cécred, on Feb. 20, further solidifying her influence and impact across various industries.
