Sikiratu Sindodo Said “All Black Everything” to Ojude Oba—And We Listened

Sikiratu Sindodo

The Ojude Oba Festival did what it always does: gave us culture, couture, and an unspoken competition for “Best Entrance in Full Glam.” And guess who stepped out looking like the final boss of Yoruba fashion drama? Tayo Odueke, a.k.a. Sikiratu Sindodo.

While everyone else was playing with jewel tones and flamboyant gele physics, Tayo rolled up in a look that whispered “power” but accessorised like a Yoruba royal still collecting hearts. The actress turned the festival into her personal press tour in a long black coat with capital S Shoulders layered over a sleek black dress, topped off with floral appliqués blooming like her RSVP was “dress code: dominate.”

It’s not every day you see someone wear all black to a festival this colourful and somehow still win the fashion game. But Tayo understood the assignment and submitted extra credit. The bright red lipstick? Perfect. The coral beads stacked like ancestral trophies? Iconic. The sunglasses? As dark as the energy she left behind for anyone trying to outshine her.

She captioned the look “Ojude Oba ready,” but let’s be real—Ojude Oba wasn’t ready.

And while everyone else showed up in varying degrees of glam, Sikiratu Sindodo showed up like she owns the afterparty and the ancestral storyline. There’s a thin line between traditional and transcendent—and Tayo just danced across it in heels.
