The first official look from the traditional wedding of Simi Sanya and Femi Dapson has finally arrived and it was worth the wait.
For their grand entrance at the #MeetTheDapsons26 celebration, the couple embraced a refined colour story of blush pink and forest green, creating a coordinated look that felt both regal and modern.

Designed by HRH Bespoke Imperial and Prudential Gabriel, and styled by Emmanuel Goodnews, the outfits leaned into sculptural tailoring and intricate embroidery.
Femi Dapson stepped out in a blush pink agbada crafted from structured textured fabric. Running down the centre panel is rich forest green embroidery arranged in geometric grid patterns with leaf-like motifs that extend elegantly toward a circular crest at the hem.
Underneath the agbada, he wore a matching pink sokoto paired with a fila featuring a green embroidered border.
The accessories added even more character to the look. Oversized forest green beaded necklaces layered across his chest, anchored by a striking emerald-toned pendant. Dark round sunglasses introduced a contemporary edge, while a sculptural green staff echoed the architectural embroidery patterns of the outfit.
Simi’s gown, designed by Prudential Gabriel, mirrored the same forest green embroidery seen in Femi’s agbada. The intricate pattern runs along the hips and down the front of her fitted blush pink skirt, creating visual continuity between both outfits.

The bodice features an off-the-shoulder neckline framed by dramatic fan-shaped pleated sleeves in forest green, a sculptural detail that adds a bold, modern silhouette.
At the hem, a subtle cutout detail reveals layered embroidery beneath the skirt, adding depth and texture to the design.
She completed the look with a structured blush pink gele, a delicate gold necklace and a small pink drawstring pouch that complemented the colour palette perfectly.
What makes the couple’s first look so striking is the harmony between both outfits. The shared colour palette and repeating embroidery patterns create a cohesive visual story, one that feels deeply rooted in tradition while still embracing contemporary design.

Set against a draped green backdrop, the blush tones of their outfits stand out beautifully while the forest green accents tie everything together.
With styling by Emmanuel Goodnews bringing the final vision to life, Simi Sanya and Femi Dapson’s first traditional wedding look sets the tone for what is already shaping up to be one of the most talked-about celebrations of the season.
And judging by this first appearance, the wait was absolutely worth it.
