The 34-year-old singer showcased her nature-inspired nails, created by LA-based nail artist @puttheminacoffin, which included ants, ladybugs, a dragonfly, and a grasshopper, along with a monarch butterfly wing on one nail.
Sharing the look on Instagram, SZA captioned her post, “????????????????????????????got new bugs ????.” She paired her eye-catching nails with a long-sleeve marigold dress, thong sandals, and layered necklaces, creating a standout look for the event.
Known for her waist-length curls and bronzy makeup, SZA’s bug-themed manicure added an element of surprise and creativity to her red carpet style.
In a previous interview with Dazed, SZA revealed her fascination with bugs, describing how her perspective has evolved over time. She expressed a newfound appreciation for insects, recognizing their beauty and purpose in nature.
At the iHeartRadio Music Awards, SZA took home three awards, including R&B Song of the Year for “Snooze,” R&B Album of the Year for her album SOS, and R&B Artist of the Year. Her hit song “Snooze” also won Best R&B Song at the 2024 Grammy Awards in February.
