The 8 Best Dressed at the 68th Grammy Awards

Grammy

For anyone who lives for a red-carpet spectacle, the Grammy Awards remain fashion’s most thrilling wildcard. Unlike other ceremonies that favour restraint, the Grammys actively encourage drama, an open invitation for nominees, presenters and guests to push silhouettes, textures and references to their most extravagant limits.

This year’s arrivals at the 68th Grammy Awards proved exactly why the ceremony continues to be fashion’s most unpredictable night. Leading the charge was Lady Gaga, who delivered one of the evening’s most commanding statements in a high-neck feathered gown by Paris-based label Matières Fécales. The look was unapologetically theatrical—equal parts gothic romance and avant-garde glamour cementing Gaga’s ongoing commitment to fashion as performance art.

Elsewhere on the carpet, Chanel emerged as a quiet throughline, with both Olivia Dean and Kendrick Lamar opting for polished interpretations of the house’s codes. Their looks offered a masterclass in how classic tailoring can still command attention amid a sea of spectacle.

Romance, however, was the evening’s most recurring theme. Tyla leaned into vintage fantasy in an archival Dsquared2 ensemble that nodded to the decadence of the 1920s, while Sabrina Carpenter shimmered in a custom Valentino gown layered with intricate beading and soft tiers that skimmed the red carpet. The effect was unmistakably old-Hollywood, filtered through a modern lens—see all of our favorite looks here.
