Meet the Cast of EbonyLife’s The Secret Lives of Baba Segi’s Wives

EbonyLife Films has revealed the full cast for its upcoming adaptation of The Secret Lives of Baba Segi’s Wives, bringing Lola Shoneyin’s acclaimed novel to the big screen this December.

Leading the ensemble is Odunlade Adekola as Baba Segi, the outspoken patriarch at the center of the story. Joining him are Iyabo Ojo as the formidable Iya Segi, Mercy Aigbe as Iya Tope, Bimbo Ademoye as Iya Femi and Omowunmi Dada as Bolanle, the educated newcomer whose arrival disrupts the delicate balance within the household.

The supporting cast includes Bimbo Manuel as Teacher, Nkechi Blessing as Mrs Bakare, Bisola Aiyeola as Yemisi and Olarotimi Fakunle as Taju. Constance Olatunde and Maleek of Ikorodu Bois portray Segi and Akin, while Tina Mba, Blessing Nze, Daniel Etim Effiong, Uzor Arukwe, Kunle Remi, Mike Azu, Nancy Isime, Bolaji Ogunmola and Binta Ayo Mogaji round out the lineup.

Directed by Daniel Oriahi, the film adapts Lola Shoneyin’s bestselling novel, exploring family dynamics, power struggles and long-buried secrets inside one of contemporary African literature’s most memorable households.

The movie is scheduled to arrive in cinemas this December.
