Even Timothée Chalamet’s most eco-conscious choices come with a price tag.
The Call Me by Your Name star made waves at the London premiere of his latest film, A Complete Unknown, when he arrived not in a limo but on an electric Lime bike. Riding the bike onto the red carpet might have seemed like the perfect way to promote sustainability, but it came with an unexpected twist—a £65 fine.
“There was a traffic jam,” Chalamet explained on the French talk show Quotidien. “And I actually wasn’t allowed to park there, and I got a £65 [$79] fine.”
He jokingly added, “It’s horrible because it was actually kind of an advert for [Lime bikes],” pointing out that now potential users know they could face fines for parking in the wrong spot.
Despite the mishap, Timothée’s European escapade wasn’t all fines and frustration. Following the UK premiere, he jetted off to Paris, where he reunited with girlfriend Kylie Jenner for a romantic evening.
The couple, who’ve been turning heads with their public appearances, dined at a cozy Parisian restaurant after attending the French premiere of A Complete Unknown. Timothée, sporting a layered look complete with his signature pink hat and scarf, opened the door for Kylie, who stunned in a plunging black ensemble.
This Parisian date night came just weeks after the pair were spotted sharing a sweet moment at the 2025 Golden Globes. Seated together alongside Chalamet’s costars Elle Fanning and Monica Barbaro, they didn’t shy away from showing affection, even sharing a kiss during the event.
Whether it’s his on-screen performances, eco-friendly choices, or heartwarming moments with Kylie, Timothée Chalamet continues to capture attention—even if it costs him a parking fine.
