News of the birth was revealed through an intimate video montage capturing the family’s first moments together, instantly drawing emotional reactions and congratulations from fans, celebrities, and followers across social media.

The couple also shared the meaning behind their daughter’s name, revealing that “Eliana” translates to “My God has answered.” They explained that “EL” signifies God while “ANA” means “He has answered,” giving the name a deeply personal and spiritual significance.

Accompanying the announcement was a Bible verse from 1 Samuel 1:27: “For this child I prayed; and the Lord hath given me my petition, which I asked of him.”

Veekee James and Femi Atere first got engaged in June 2023 before celebrating their wedding across multiple ceremonies in February 2024. In February 2026, the couple publicly announced they were expecting, sharing that they had been trying for a child for a year before receiving the news.

Veekee was also seen breastfeeding her newborn while wearing a soft pink silk pyjama set coordinated with Eliana’s knitted pink outfit embroidered with her name.

The montage also included appearances from Veekee’s niece, Victoria James, who gently kissed the baby on the forehead in one of the clip’s most touching moments.

Known for her attention to detail and love for elegant aesthetics, the coordinated styling throughout the announcement video reflected the same polished visual storytelling that has become closely associated with the designer’s personal brand.
