Wax fabric and African fashion: the new portal by Ratti

The wax fabric, one of the most fascinating, is the protagonist together with the African creativity of a new project by Ratti.

A new digital platform in which to get to know not only a company with 75 years of history in textiles but also a showcase for the creativity of young designers from around the world: the new project by Ratti , a company famous (also) for its commitment to sustainability , enhances corporate know-how but also the creativity of African talents.

Ratti brings together more than 75 years of history in the new platform, presenting all the projects, corporate content and news on the company’s activities in the “First Floor” section. Alongside this magazine, you can access a mini-site on the site entirely dedicated to in-depth information on sustainability. The major novelty of Ratti’s new path, however, is the rattiafrica.com portal

The new website is presented as a rich digital showcase of the 100% made in Italy wax fabric world signed by the company, whose colors and prints are the result of a fusion of styles, colors and ideas belonging to cultures beyond the Mediterranean. To “tell” this world, a shooting with the creations of young designers from Ghana who were asked to dare with creativity and imagination to design the wax of the future and implement the offer.

The two main brands are “Niposkin”, designed by Bismark Nimo-Poku, famous for being the official designer for the most important beauty contest in Ghana “Miss Malaika” and for having been included in the list of the best 2020 women’s fashion designers Choice Africa Awards. Sarah Christian, the second protagonist of the project, is a designer graduated from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology but who has already seen her creations worn by various public figures and personalities in Ghana.

Digital innovation and support for creativity are the two ingredients of the new Ratti project to be discovered online.
