The La Mode Entrepreneur Excellence Grant is an initiative created to support, fund, and spotlight emerging entrepreneurs within the beauty and fashion industry. The grant is designed to empower visionary creatives who are building innovative brands and contributing to the growth of the industry.

Through financial support, visibility, and access to the La Mode community network, the grant aims to strengthen promising businesses and position them for sustainable growth. It is open to entrepreneurs across various sectors of the beauty and fashion space, including fashion design, beauty services, accessories, product brands, and other creative ventures shaping the industry.

Selected recipients will gain not only funding but also strategic exposure, mentorship opportunities, and integration into a community committed to excellence and innovation.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

In order to be considered for the La Mode Entrepreneur Excellence Grant, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Applicants must be active subscribers or registered members of the La Mode Community at the time of application and must maintain active membership throughout the grant cycle.

Applicants must have a duly registered business with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and must provide valid proof of registration at the time of application.

The grant is open to entrepreneurs operating within the beauty and fashion industry, including but not limited to fashion designers (ready-to-wear, couture, and accessories), makeup artists, lash technicians, nail technicians,hairstylists, skincare brands, jewellery designers, shoe and bag designers, stylists, and beauty product brands.

The business must be majority-owned by the applicant, with not less than 80% ownership held by the founder or creative director.

Applicants must provide verifiable proof of business activity, such as an active social media presence, portfolio of work, product catalogue, website, client testimonials, or other evidence demonstrating consistent operations.

The business should have been actively operating for no more than three years at the time of application, if the grant is intended to support emerging entrepreneurs.

Applicants must clearly outline how the grant funding will be used and demonstrate a structured plan for business growth and sustainability.

Selected recipients may be required to participate in La Mode programs, mentorship sessions, media features, public relations(PRO), promotional campaigns, or community engagement connected to the grant, both locally and internationally.

Applicants must comply with all La Mode community standards, policies, and ethical guidelines.
