Comedian Tiffany Haddish has entered a not guilty plea to two misdemeanor charges stemming from her DUI arrest over the Thanksgiving weekend. The “Girls Trip” star’s defense attorney made the plea during an arraignment, and a pretrial hearing is scheduled for Feb. 14, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.

Haddish was arrested on Nov. 24 after allegedly falling asleep behind the wheel of her Tesla. She faces one misdemeanor count of driving under the influence of alcohol and another misdemeanor count of driving with a .08% blood alcohol content. Following her release, Haddish addressed the incident during a performance at the Laugh Factory, humorously stating that she “answered her prayers” for a man with a job.

In a subsequent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Haddish expressed remorse, pledging that such an incident “will never happen again.” She acknowledged the need for help in learning balance and boundaries. The comedian has since shared updates on her life, including a birthday tribute and news about an upcoming book, “I Curse You With Joy,” set to be released in May. Amidst legal matters, Haddish is embracing life’s moments, recently documenting a vacation in Hawaii on her Instagram.
