La Mode Entrepreneur Excellence Grant

Glory Agbonita Ehizuenlen was honored as Fashion Designer of the Year amongst many others at the 14th African Achievers Awards held on July 13, 2024, at the Houses of Parliament in London. This distinguished event recognizes Africans whose exceptional leadership and cultural contributions have resonated on a global scale. This recognition underscores their role in elevating African fashion identity and sustainability through design rooted in heritage and innovation.

Other achievers that evening were notable figures such as Ogiame Atuwatse III, the Olu of Warri, who received the Leadership and Community Development Award, Vusi Thembekwayo of South Africa, awarded for excellence as a leadership coach, and Nigerian gospel artist Moses Bliss, lauded for his achievements in contemporary music. Ehizuenlen’s inclusion affirms her place among Africa’s most influential creatives advancing the continent’s narrative worldwide.
