Balepo Chukwunweike Michael, professionally known as Chuchu, is a Nigerian Creative Director, Filmmaker, Cinematographer, Photographer, and Visual Storyteller with over 15 years of experience in the media and creative industry across Africa.

He is the Founder and CEO of Grand Appeal Company, a creative media brand known for delivering impactful visual storytelling across film production, documentaries, commercials, photography, branded campaigns, and event coverage. Through his leadership and creative direction, the company has grown into a respected platform recognized for cinematic excellence, emotional storytelling, and strong visual identity.

Over the years, Chuchu has successfully worked with more than 70 brands and delivered over 243 creative projects across different sectors and audiences, building a reputation for authenticity, innovation, and professionalism within the African creative space.

Known for his emotionally driven storytelling and cinematic visual style, his work captures culture, lifestyle, human experiences, and modern African narratives in ways that deeply connect with audiences. His storytelling approach is inspired by real-life experiences, youth culture, identity, family, and the realities of everyday African life.

Beyond media and filmmaking, Chuchu is also the Founder of the BalepoChuchu Foundation, an initiative focused on youth empowerment, community impact, and mental health awareness. Through the foundation, he actively advocates for conversations around emotional well-being, societal pressure, personal growth, and the importance of creating safe spaces for young people navigating modern realities.
