Beyoncé has delighted her fans with the release of her long-awaited haircare brand, Cécred, which is now available. The Grammy-winning artist has been teasing the launch since May 16, when she first hinted at creating something special on her Instagram.

In a series of images, Beyoncé shared her personal hair journey, including her early days helping out in her mother’s salon, Headliners. She expressed her desire to carry on her mother’s legacy and create a brand that celebrates the sacredness of hair.

Cécred, which launches with the Foundation collection, is inspired by global haircare rituals and is suitable for all hair textures and types. The collection includes eight products, housed in beautifully textured bottles, that cleanse, condition, and strengthen hair. Key ingredients include Bioactive Keratin Ferment, derived from wool, and honey.

The brand’s vice chairwoman, Tina Knowles, Beyoncé’s mother, played a pivotal role in developing the formulas, combining high-tech haircare with nourishing moisturizers and oils. Beyoncé credits her experiences in her mother’s salon for shaping her bold experimentation with hair and her creative approach to styling.

Cécred’s launch also includes a partnership with BeyGOOD, Beyoncé’s foundation, to provide cosmetology school scholarships and salon business grants, furthering education and fostering talent in the industry.
