Deyemi Okanlawon’s latest romantic feature, “All’s Fair In Love,” has expanded its reach to Ghanaian audiences after a successful opening in Nigeria.
The actor shared the exciting news on Instagram, revealing that the film is now showing at Silverbird Accra and West Hills Mall in Ghana. This move follows the movie’s warm reception in Nigeria.
“All’s Fair In Love” adds to a growing list of Nigerian films, including “A Tribe Called Judah,” “Malaika,” and “Ada Omo Daddy,” that have made their way to international cinemas following their premieres in Nigeria.
According to reports from Film One Entertainment, the official distributors, “All’s Fair In Love” has grossed ₦27 million since its debut on February 14, 2024. This makes it the highest opening weekend for a Nollywood film in 2024, the highest opening weekend for a romantic comedy, and the biggest February opening for a Nollywood film.
The movie’s plot revolves around two Nigerian business partners and friends, played by Okanlawon and Timini Egbuson, who both fall in love with the same woman, portrayed by Buhle Samuels. The story unfolds as they compete for her affection, leading to a series of comedic and heartfelt moments.
The film features a talented cast, including Ireti Doyle, Juliet Ibrahim, Adedimeji Lateef, Beauty Tukura, Venita Akpofure, Kunle Bamtefa, Gbubemi Ejeye, Kenzy Udonsenm, Oprah Okereke, and Timilehin Ojeola.
