Simi’s latest single, “All I Want,” is a captivating Afro-pop fusion anthem that seamlessly blends Yoruba, pidgin, and English, characteristic of her unique style. The song, according to Simi, is a happy, feel-good track that speaks to the desires of true love-seekers.

In “All I Want,” Simi delivers a mix of appraisal, confession, a call to action, and a warning to her lover. She passionately expresses her need for genuine and intentional love, singing, “All I want is you / no dey take me play / you better show me that you love me just like I love you”.

Simi’s lyrical prowess shines through in this song, evident in lines like “Chemistry way pass chemical, no do me like Jidenna do Erica / Don’t carry Mile 2, drop me for Ketu,” showcasing her clever wordplay and storytelling skills.

Following her 2023 tour with Alicia Keys and collaborations with artists like Spyro and Adekunle Gold, Simi’s “All I Want” marks a new era in her music career.
