Temi Nkem is giving denim a glamorous new assignment.

The BBNaija winner stepped out in a belted indigo jacket paired with a black fringe skirt that cascades to the floor. It is an unexpected combination, but that is exactly what makes the look work.

The jacket keeps things structured, with gold buttons, a notched collar and multiple front pockets giving it a classic denim feel. Underneath, a plunging black top adds a touch of evening glamour, while the belted waist creates a more defined silhouette.

Then the skirt takes over. Starting with a mini-length base, its long strands of fringe bring movement and drama with every step. It transforms an otherwise familiar denim-and-black combination into something far more playful.

Temi’s accessories refuse to blend into the background, too. A brown-and-cream cow-print clutch introduces another texture, while mustard pointed pumps bring an unexpected burst of colour. Gold hoops and rings keep the styling cohesive without competing with the statement pieces.

With her hair pulled back into a sleek style and her makeup finished with smoky eyes and a glossy nude lip, the overall effect feels considered rather than overdone.

Denim brings the structure. Fringe brings the drama. Temi lets both have their moment.
