La Mode Entrepreneur Excellence Grant

Somebody hand us tissues because Temi Otedola and Mr Eazi just delivered the kind of wedding look that makes you believe in love all over again.

For their third traditional outfit change (yes, third—these two don’t do ordinary), the newlyweds teamed up with Nigerian designer Lisa Folawiyo Studio to honour the heritage of Mr Eazi’s late mother, Ifeoma Ajibade. And honestly? We’re not emotionally stable enough for this level of beauty and meaning.

Temi

Here’s the part that broke us: before she passed earlier this year, Ifeoma Ajibade actually sent the couple photos of how she wanted her culture to be represented on their big day. Like, the thoughtfulness, the love, the intentionality—we’re crying again just typing this.

And when it came to bringing that vision to life, Temi went straight to Lisa Folawiyo. Not only has Lisa been dressing her since the very start of her career, but this felt like the ultimate full-circle fashion moment. The result? A masterpiece of traditional Akwaocha fabric from Delta State, adorned with 200 hours of hand-beading and fringework. Every stitch, every bead, every shimmering detail carried weight, history, and heart.

Eazi, for his part, kept it sleek and understated, letting his bride shine while still rocking those subtle Lisa Folawiyo details that made his look feel special. Because real love? It’s knowing when to share the spotlight.

The sweetest note of all: Temi shared that they felt “Mommy Ifeoma’s presence throughout the day.” And just like that, this wasn’t just fashion—it was family, memory, and love woven into fabric. Proof, once again, that sometimes clothes tell the deepest stories of all.
