Nigerian singer Tems recently spilled the beans on the motivation behind her annual wardrobe sales during an interview with Cool FM. The “Damages” singer, known for her fashion-forward style, shared that she is a self-confessed shopaholic and uses the sales not only to declutter but also for a charitable cause.

In the interview, Tems revealed that the wardrobe sale, which includes both worn and unworn items, was initiated last year as a means to create more space. She humorously acknowledged her penchant for shopping and highlighted the annual sale as a way to address her “shopaholic problems.”

However, the wardrobe sale isn’t just about freeing up closet space. Tems disclosed that the proceeds from the sale go to charity, specifically mentioning her partnership with the organization WARIF. The Women At Risk International Foundation focuses on advocating for women and children who are victims of domestic violence. For Tems, the sale serves a dual purpose: addressing her shopping habits and raising awareness for organizations that need the spotlight.
