Uzee: My name is Uzee Usman popularly known as Uzee concept, CEO Uzee multi concept, and award winning movie maker, TV presenter, actor, and entrepreneur.
La Mode: TELL US ABOUT YOUR BACKGROUND?
Uzee: Was born 11_ 11_1986 in kaduna state, did both my primary and secondary school in Kaduna state, have 2 degrees 1 in English at university of Jos, and the second Political science at university of Abuja.
La Mode: HOW DID YOU GET YOUR IDEA OR CONCEPT FOR THE BUSINESS?
Uzee: It is a natural thing from almighty GOD. My dear I just find myself doing some script out of ordinary. And I take risk a lot. For example am among the1st film makers from the north to spend huge amount of money to collaborate actor both from Hausa film and the English film together to do Hausa films. And they all come out big.
La Mode: WHAT MOTIVATED YOU TO GO INTO FILM MAKING
Uzee: It’s all depend anyways I always have this inside passion for film since I was a child, and I grew to see lot of actors I really want to be like, then after my 1st degree I went to Lagos to see if I can get acting roles? That’s when I meet a director called Andy Amenachi he advised me to go behind camera because he saw the way I go for auditions everyday and I only get picked to play waka pass lol if you know what I mean. So I travel to South Africa to learn makeup and special effect when I came back I became 1 of the most sort after from there I said why not go into producing and I did in 2009 I produced my 1st movie tittle #Under which I shoot in Ghana and it’s was a huge success and from there it’s all history.
La Mode: YOUR BIGGEST CHALLENGE?
Uzee: Was when I did the movie #MAJA it’s an Hausa film production, with #Nkem Owoh which also involve lots of cast and the cast was both English and Hausa and I shoot the movie in 3 states Abuja, Kaduna and Lagos.
La Mode: WHO IS YOUR ROLE MODEL?
Uzee: Wow I have lot of mentors, the top directors and producers.. but #kunle Afolayan is 1 of top onces.

Uzee: It’s simple, and complicated

Uzee: Internet, social network, magazines, newspapers, radios and TV.

Uzee: Handwork, Dedication and focus.

Uzee: Passion and the love of my career.

Uzee: To be part of employing the youth who want achieve their dream without been intimidated specially the girls.
La Mode: WHAT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY AS A FILM MAKER?
Uzee: To manage production @ large both the actors and the crew member and to make sure discrimination does not enter it’s heart? Everybody most be equal in your presence.
La Mode: WHAT HUMANITARIAN WORKS HAVE YOU DONE?
Uzee: Yes yes yes alot I have an NGO but its kind of low key? I just believe if you want to do anything humanitarian you most not pay for publicity. It’s somtin for GOD and it’s should be from your heart.
La Mode: WHAT IS YOUR ADVICE FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS A CAREER IN FILM MAKING?
Uzee: For someone just starting film making be dedicated, GOD fearing, and Be focus.
