The Nigerian star brought the colour to New York Fashion Week, stepping out for the Children of Blood and Bone x LaQuan Smith event in a floor-length royal-purple dress by the designer.
The semi-sheer gown hugged her frame before opening into a dramatic thigh-high split, with an asymmetric neckline and sheer bust overlay adding just enough drama.
She kept the accessories sleek with a metallic purple shoulder bag, silver drop earrings and black ankle-strap heels, while her bone-straight hair fell into a deep side part.
Even the beauty look stayed on theme. A magenta-and-purple cut crease, glossy ombré lip and clean brows finished the look.
Purple clearly has Ayra’s attention and we are not complaining.
