Burna Boy has never been one to do things quietly, and his first sneaker collaboration with Swiss sportswear brand On is no exception. One shoe arrives in unapologetic red, the other keeps things almost entirely white. Together, they offer two very different interpretations of the Afrobeats star’s personal style.
The release comes just over a year after Burna Boy joined On as an ambassador, marking his first footwear designs with the brand. The collection introduces new versions of the Cloudmonster and THE ROGER Clubhouse, bringing his creative influence to both performance-inspired and everyday sneakers.
The Cloudmonster BB is easily the louder of the two. Its bright red finish covers everything from the upper to the shoe’s distinctive oversized sole, with darker branding providing subtle contrast. Built on On’s maximum-cushioned running silhouette, it brings a bold visual identity to a design that has become popular beyond running.
THE ROGER Clubhouse BB takes the opposite approach. Inspired by classic tennis footwear, the all-white sneaker relies on smaller details to make its statement. Textured, shaggy laces add an unexpected finish, while two red stitches at the heel provide a discreet connection to the collection’s colour story.
A third design, the Cloudtilt Remix, is also expected to join the lineup, although official images have yet to be released.
Beyond the footwear, the collaboration carries a more personal message. Its accompanying campaign, No Giant Stands Alone, features Burna Boy alongside friends, family and collaborators who have contributed to his journey. The idea reflects the artist’s belief that success is shaped by community rather than individual achievement alone.
That connection between music, sport and culture has been central to Burna Boy’s relationship with On since the partnership was announced. With this release, the brand gives the Nigerian superstar room to bring his identity into its growing lifestyle footwear offering.
The Burna Boy x On Cloudmonster BB and THE ROGER Clubhouse BB are available now through On and select retailers, including Foot Locker, priced at $180 and $150 respectively.
