The NFL came to France for the first time ever, and Burna Boy made sure the world noticed. On October 25, 2026, the Nigerian superstar took over the halftime show at the Stade de France in Paris during the Pittsburgh Steelers vs. New Orleans Saints game. The crowd of 78,488 fans did not just watch a football game. They watched one of the biggest music moments of the year.

Burna BOY

Burna Boy opened the show with “4 Kampe II,” his hit song with French-Haitian artist Joé Dwèt Filé. The track was a perfect fit for a French audience. He then moved into “Ye,” “On the Low,” and “Last Last,” three of his biggest hits. The energy in the stadium was electric from start to finish.

The show was not just Burna Boy solo. French singer Yseult joined him on stage. She called herself the first French female artist to ever perform at an NFL halftime show. Olympic judo champion Teddy Riner also made a surprise appearance, adding a moment of pure French pride to the performance.

The weekend was bigger than the game. Burna Boy was seen catching up with football star Paul Pogba around the stadium. The timing also lined up with the launch of his first sneaker deal with On, the Swiss sportswear brand.

This was not just another halftime show. Burna Boy had already made history at this same stadium in April 2025, becoming the first African artist to headline a solo concert there. Now he returned for an NFL game, in front of nearly 80,000 people, and on a global broadcast.

The performance aired live on France Télévisions and beIN Sports in France. But clips and highlights quickly spread across social media, reaching fans worldwide.
