Beyoncé’s rendition of The Beatles’ “Blackbird” shines with a quartet of talented Black country singers.

The four women—Brittney Spencer, Reyna Roberts, Tanner Adell, and Tiera Kennedy—celebrated their collaboration by getting matching tattoos, a nod to their shared journey. Roberts spilled the beans about their ink while strutting the red carpet at the CMT Awards in Nashville.

“We actually got matching tattoos,” she shared with Billboard, adding, “Mine isn’t exactly matching but we all got a symbolism of our blackbird.”

Roberts’ tattoo features black wings and the phrase, “Thou shall reign heavenly fire.”

On Instagram, she shared a close-up of her and Adell’s matching tattoos.

Adell also showcased their tattoos in a photo dump from their night at the CMT Awards.

Kennedy shared the meaning behind her tattoo—a blackbird wearing a cowboy hat—in an Instagram Reel. She explained that the “Blackbiird” cover and her single “I Ain’t a Cowgirl” inspired the art, serving as reminders of her strength and faith.

“Up until now I’ve only had one little cross tattoo on my wrist and now we’re in the big leagues baby or maybe the minor leagues haha,” she wrote in the caption of the post, which included footage of her getting inked. “Thank you @andyoutattoo for slaying this design!!”

Tattoo artist Hannah Matthews was behind each singer’s tattoo and shared images of their unique ink on Instagram.

“Long story short— these stunning, sweet sweet, AMAZINGLY talented black female country artists (@tanneradell @brittneyspencer @thereynaroberts @tieramusic) were featured on Beyoncé’s new country album!!!!” she wrote.

Matthews expressed gratitude for being part of the singers’ journey and commemorating their milestone with her art.

“Thank you thank you thank you for allowing my art to be a part of y’all’s shining moment! ????‍⬛,” she concluded.
