Viral streamer IShowSpeed has dropped his new track “World Cup (Champions)”, and within just 24 hours, the video has already crossed 6 million views on YouTube, sending social media into full celebration mode.

It’s not an official FIFA release, but at this point, it barely matters. The energy is too big to ignore.

The track joins an already stacked global soundtrack for the 2026 tournament, sitting alongside major releases from artists like Shakira, Burna Boy, and Tyla, whose World Cup-themed records have been shaping the sound of the season. But Speed’s entry brings something different, raw, unfiltered fan energy that feels closer to the stands than the studio.

What’s making the video even more viral is its visual storytelling. The production leans heavily into Ghanaian cultural inspiration, featuring traditional dancers, vibrant choreography, and rich visual textures that bring an unmistakable African rhythm to the global football stage. It’s loud, colourful, and intentionally celebratory in a way that feels built for internet replay culture.

Almost instantly, fans began campaigning for the track to receive official tournament recognition, flooding comment sections and social platforms with support. The hype escalated even further when the official FIFA account reportedly responded with a teasing, “We will be in touch…” fueling even more speculation about whether the song could somehow enter the official conversation.

With the tournament just around the corner, “World Cup (Champions)” has landed at exactly the right time. It’s not polished in the traditional sense, but that’s part of its appeal. It feels like pure fan energy translated into music.

And right now, that might be exactly what the World Cup build-up needed.
