Tems stepped onto the Afro Plus Fest 2026 stage in Maryland looking like she had brought her own special effect.
For her headline performance at the Northwest Stadium Complex in Landover, the singer wore a custom electric blue fringe dress, styled by Dunsin Wright, and the movement was everything.

The halter-neck design started with a fitted bodice before dropping into a cord-fringe bustline that gave the look its first hit of texture. Then came the low-slung waist belt, finished with oversized silver grommets and studs.
But the real drama was underneath.

The skirt opened into layers upon layers of long fringe, creating movement every time Tems walked, danced or turned on stage. Under the performance lights, the electric blue made the whole look even harder to miss.
It was a smart choice for a headline set because the dress didn’t just look good standing still. It moved with Tems.
