Lantern (Throwback Thursday)

Let us take you back to the era of Lanterns. When in every average home you will find a lantern. What you need to do is pour your kerosene, light it up with matches and the whole feeling of darkness is gone.

Most Nigerian mothers do not joke with lantern during this time. As soon as it gets dark it is in your daily routine to get the lantern, turn it on and place in a corner allocated to it already.

Even when there is power supply before going to bed, the lantern will be on but reduced in its corner waiting for power to go off.

Dear Lantern, We miss you.
